The images that I make are spontaneous and abstract. The interplay of a wide range of materials is a key part of my process. This way of working reflects the world, as I see and experience it, in a natural way. I try not to plan too much because I love the adventure of responding in the moment. Certain choices and preferences run consistently through my work: a wide variety of materials, both found and conventional; casual, unfussy techniques and combinations; contemplative, playful atmospheres; and an interest in building and exploring different types of structures at varying stages of growth and decay.
