The images that I make are spontaneous and abstract. I love materials of all kinds and love to combine them, as I feel this reflects the world that I see and experience in a natural way. I try not to plan too much because I love the adventure of responding to and interacting with my materials, shapes and colors. Certain choices and preferences run consistently through my work: rough, discarded materials of great variety; casual, unfussy techniques; contemplative yet playful atmospheres; and the feeling for and building of structures.
